HDR preserves the details of the shadows as well as the

brilliance of sunlit areas and bright reflections

HDR content preserves details in the darkest and brightest areas of a picture that are lost using current standards. It also allows for more natural, true-to-life colors that are closer to how we see them in real life.

Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) is the equivalent of about 6-8 stops, while HDR is a minimum of 12-15 stops. HDR requires a new workflow and HDR-capable display devices to support the expanded color space and dynamic range, as well as new metadata.

Over 30 years experience in both production & post workflow

and software development.

UHD/HDR/WCG Processing based on Human Perception

Colorfront Engine™ differs from any other systems because its algorithms are based on how the human eye actually sees the world. Not just a linear mathematics system. The perceived relationship of color and brightness remain constant across differing dynamic ranges, brightnesses and color gamuts.
